Anatomy and Trichome Micromorphology of Endemic Ballota pseudodictamnus subsp. lycia

چکیده

In this study, the anatomical features of Ballota pseudodictamnus (L.) Benth. subsp. lycia Hub.-Mor. (Lamiaceae), endemic taxa from Turkey are examined and evaluated by light (LM) scanning electron microscopy (SEM). Different trichome types (glandular -including Lamiaceae type, capitate peltate- non-glandular trichomes) observed. The densest type is dendroid trichomes on aerial part plant. leaf bifacial amphistomatic. petiole, there two collateral vascular bundles in centre one small bundle each corner. prismatic crystals present pith area stem. Results compared with other studies literature. characteristics stem, lamina measurements presented additionally micromorphology given for first time.
